Hey Soba-fans!

We’re at that time of year to start thinking about the upcoming Comiket on December 29th-31st. We’ve teamed up with a great guy in Japan who goes by the name Loserbait who’s gonna be helping us out for a while with various things. We’ve got a couple more doujins from Yumeko-chan’s stock from when she went to Japan, but we’re always looking to gather more to keep an ongoing supply of doujins to release to you all!

Velvet Kiss:

Besides doujins, another new development we’re working on is thinking about the future of Velvet Kiss. We’re steadily moving through the series for you all, but we were thinking of how long the gap between Volume 3 and 4 is going to be for everyone, so we bit the bullet and decided to start ordering the magazines for chapters going into Volume 4. This will make it so we can stay on top of the chapters as they’re released in Japan.

The problem with magazines versus buying tanks is the fact you have to repurchase the magazines for each chapter. So it can get a bit pricey. For all the tankobon lovers out there, we would still intend to purchase the tank of high quality pages with cover and little bonus material at the end, so have no fears on that end for your collection purposes~

Raffle:

We’re hoping to raise money for the future doujins and Velvet Kiss! In return, anybody who donates to us will be entered in a drawing for a Kuroneko doujinshi. It’s one Yumeko-chan grabbed in Japan, not realizing it had already been translated, so the doujin is in tip-top condition. If you’d like to check out the contents of the doujinshi, you can check it out on Fakku. Doujinshi in general are much larger than regular tankobon’s, more like the size of a magazine, with high quality pages. This doujin is even larger than normal, so it’s quite a nice addition to a collection (or the start of a new one).

You are not disqualified for being outside the United States (Hooray!)
